To Whom It May Concern,

You have now met young Johnny. I am sharing his story with you because I believe it is the most effective way for you to discover the world your eyes do not see.

As Johnny’s story unfolds and you learn more about this world, if you let me, I will share details with you in a more direct manner. I will introduce myself along the way.

Throughout the story chapters many things are mentioned that may seem mysterious or strange to you. You may refer to The Seers’ Handbook to learn more; I’ll attach it in the back of this volume. However, I recommend you wait until after my next letter to you before delving into the Handbook too deeply.

My apologies for sharing this with you in this manner – that is, delegating the publishing and distribution without personally representing it – but as you soon will learn, I have a bit of a handicap which inhibits me from staying in one place for very long.

Dear Reader,

J.a. has commissioned me to publish and distribute this book to you due to his inability to manage this project himself. Later on he will explain his reasons and his “handicap” in more detail.

As publisher, I also have been given the latitude to offer different options on how the book is read. Thus, although j.a. advises against delving into the Seers’ Handbook too quickly, I am not only suggesting that it is “ok” to do so, but will even go so far as to provide items to look up in the Handbook when j.a. neglects to.

However, if you prefer the tight grasp of mystery, intrigue and the gradual exposition of things, then go back to the story, kick off your shoes, and wait for j.a.’s further instructions regarding the Handbook.

Of course, regardless of your decision about the Handbook, the QR code links after the chapters are yours for the taking.

– M.D. Kaczkowski
